Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for a respected and fast‑growing firm in the Flathead Valley. Position: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Location: Flathead Valley What You’ll Do Verify, allocate, and post business transactions into subsidiary accounts using journals or accounting software Summarize and transfer transaction details into the general ledger Reconcile and balance accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance Prepare detailed financial reports including cash receipts, expenditures, A/P, A/R, and P&L statements Compute wages, process payroll, and ensure compliance with tax and withholding regulations Prepare and submit tax reports and compliance documentation Prepare and mail customer statements and maintain complete records up to trial balance Manage petty cash and maintain organized financial documentation Support high‑volume client accounting with accuracy and professionalism What You Bring Active CPA certification (required) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines Proficiency with accounting software, bookkeeping tools, and Microsoft Office Excellent organizational and time‑management skills Willingness to complete a skills evaluation prior to interview Experience Previous accounting experience required Experience managing high client volume strongly preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Qualities Professional and dependable Strong communicator with excellent client‑service skills Analytical, organized, and solution‑oriented Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Why You’ll Love This Job Join a highly respected firm known for accuracy, integrity, and exceptional client service Work with a wide variety of client accounts—never a dull day Supportive, professional environment with opportunities for long‑term growth Stable weekday schedule and strong work‑life balance Ready to Take the Next Step in Your Accounting Career?
