With over 40 years of success, Wallace White has built a reputation for delivering expert, practical financial solutions to a diverse client base. From accountancy and tax to payroll, VAT and corporate finance, their collaborative and personable approach is at the heart of everything they do.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll play a key role in supporting a varied client portfolio, adding value across the team by:

• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Managing bookkeeping records accurately and efficiently
• Producing accounts for a range of clients
• Supporting both personal and corporate tax work
• Building strong relationships through client interaction (including face-to-face meetings)
• Managing multiple workflows and deadlines with confidence
• Collaborating with colleagues to deliver a high-quality service across sectors including construction, hospitality, healthcare, recruitment and more

What we’re looking for

We’re keen to hear from candidates who bring:

• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within an accountancy practice
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively
• A proactive, driven and motivated approach
• A team-focused mindset with a willingness to get involved

Experience with the following systems would be advantageous:

• IRIS Accountancy Suite
• Xero
• Sage
• QuickBooks
