Department Art, Art History, & Design, Admin-OPS Compensation $20.00 Hourly Required Qualifications Job Description THIS POSITION IS NOT FOR STUDENTS. If you are a current student, you must apply to JR102868 – Studio Art Model (Open). The Department of Art, Art History & Design at the University of North Florida (UNF) is seeking mature, reliable applicants who are not currently enrolled UNF students to serve as figure models for studio art classes. Models will pose nude (not clothed/dressed) for classes consisting of approximately 18 students and one professor in a supervised studio environment. Applicants who need additional information or have questions or concerns may contact: Adam McGalliard, Assistant Professor Email: j.mcgalliard@unf.edu Job Functions (Essential Duties) Ability to hold poses for 15–20 minutes at a time with minimal movement Perform poses that may include standing, seated, reclining, twisting, or other positions as requested by the instructor Comfortably pose nude in a professional academic setting Communicate with the professor if a pose becomes uncomfortable or difficult to maintain Make minor adjustments (e.g., shifting weight) or suggest a similar sustainable pose when necessary Important Information This position is for nude figure modeling only This is not a clothed model position Appointment Term This position is temporary and is scheduled to end on December 11, 2026. The Department reserves the right to discontinue modeling assignments at any time based on class needs, scheduling changes, or performance considerations.
