Supply Chain Manager

<p>Mydas recruitment are specialists in sourcing engineers to world leading organisations</p> <p>Our client, a multinational manufacturing organisation, have a requirement for a supplier / supply chain manager to work with multifunctional teams throughout the organisation, to ensure that products are delivered to meet costs, quality &amp; schedule.</p> <p>Candidates should have experience of:</p> <ul> <li>External customer and supplier interface</li> <li>Schedule adherence and planning</li> <li>Effective business control and monitoring</li> <li>Closely monitor supplier performance to schedule and quality</li> <li>Lead role on site, assuming responsibility for manufacturing programmes.</li> <li>Expected to work with a supplier to identify any program constraints / risks and assist them in finding resolutions</li> <li>Understand any gaps the supplier may have in their rate readiness capability, including the suppliers own supply chain.</li> <li>Daily interface between Belfast MFT (multi-functional teams) and suppliers is essential, ensuring follow up of corrective action responses and a timely, cost-effective resolution of all problems.</li> <li>Representing client at program management reviews to escalate any known issues and/or contribute to the development of the supplier.</li> <li>Ensuring that good working relationships and clearly defined interfaces are maintained</li> <li>Maintaining and continually developing an effective Management Information System supported by agreed metrics and governance process, enabling sufficient program health.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Be able to demonstrate highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate at a senior level.</li> <li>Provision of management information reports to the program office to aid decision making and support on Tier 1 senior reviews.</li> <li>Continuing to develop and manage all requirements and deliverables that will support effective and causal Tier 1 performance.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Act as interface point for supplier representatives</li> <li>Candidate to represent the supplier at Engineering and Program change boards as required.</li> </ul> <p>12 month contract</p>
