About the Role

<h1>Health &amp; Safety &amp; Compliance Administrator</h1> <p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Location:</strong> Abingdon</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Salary:</strong> &pound;30,000 per annum</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Hours:</strong> Full Time | Monday to Friday | Permanent</p> <h2>The Opportunity</h2> <p class="isSelectedEnd">A well-established engineering and manufacturing business is looking to recruit a proactive <strong>Health &amp; Safety &amp; Compliance Administrator</strong> to support its Quality, Health &amp; Safety and Compliance functions.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment who enjoys organisation, compliance and continuous improvement. You&#8217;ll play a key role in ensuring health &amp; safety systems, quality processes and compliance activities run smoothly across the business.</p> <h2>Key Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Coordinate planned maintenance schedules, statutory inspections and servicing activities.</li> <li>Maintain health &amp; safety, quality and compliance records.</li> <li>Assist with creating and reviewing Risk Assessments, RAMS and COSHH assessments.</li> <li>Arrange contractor visits and maintain contractor documentation, permits and insurance records.</li> <li>Coordinate calibration schedules, asset registers and compliance documentation.</li> <li>Support internal audits, workplace inspections and continuous improvement initiatives.</li> <li>Assist with incident investigations and follow up corrective actions.</li> <li>Produce reports, spreadsheets and management documentation.</li> <li>Coordinate health &amp; safety training records and toolbox talks.</li> <li>Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure actions are completed within agreed timescales.</li> </ul> <h2>About You</h2> <p class="isSelectedEnd">We&#8217;re looking for someone who has:</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience within a Health &amp; Safety, Compliance, Quality or QHSE administration role.</li> <li>Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or production environment.</li> <li>A good understanding of Health &amp; Safety legislation.</li> <li>IOSH Managing Safely or similar qualification (desirable).</li> <li>Experience with ISO 9001 and quality management systems.</li> <li>Knowledge of Risk Assessments, COSHH and RAMS.</li> <li>Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and SharePoint.</li> <li>Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy.</li> <li>A proactive attitude with the ability to communicate confidently across all levels of the business.</li> </ul> <h2>What&#8217;s on Offer</h2> <ul> <li>Salary of <strong>&pound;30,000</strong></li> <li>Monday to Friday working hours</li> <li>Ongoing training and development</li> <li>Long-term career prospects within a growing engineering business</li> <li>Friendly and supportive working environment</li> </ul>
