<h2>The Opportunity</h2>
<p class="isSelectedEnd">A well-established engineering and manufacturing business is looking to recruit a proactive <strong>Health & Safety & Compliance Administrator</strong> to support its Quality, Health & Safety and Compliance functions.</p>
<p class="isSelectedEnd">This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment who enjoys organisation, compliance and continuous improvement. You’ll play a key role in ensuring health & safety systems, quality processes and compliance activities run smoothly across the business.</p>
<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
<li>Coordinate planned maintenance schedules, statutory inspections and servicing activities.</li>
<li>Maintain health & safety, quality and compliance records.</li>
<li>Assist with creating and reviewing Risk Assessments, RAMS and COSHH assessments.</li>
<li>Arrange contractor visits and maintain contractor documentation, permits and insurance records.</li>
<li>Coordinate calibration schedules, asset registers and compliance documentation.</li>
<li>Support internal audits, workplace inspections and continuous improvement initiatives.</li>
<li>Assist with incident investigations and follow up corrective actions.</li>
<li>Produce reports, spreadsheets and management documentation.</li>
<li>Coordinate health & safety training records and toolbox talks.</li>
<li>Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure actions are completed within agreed timescales.</li>
</ul>
<h2>About You</h2>
<p class="isSelectedEnd">We’re looking for someone who has:</p>
<ul>
<li>Previous experience within a Health & Safety, Compliance, Quality or QHSE administration role.</li>
<li>Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or production environment.</li>
<li>A good understanding of Health & Safety legislation.</li>
<li>IOSH Managing Safely or similar qualification (desirable).</li>
<li>Experience with ISO 9001 and quality management systems.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Risk Assessments, COSHH and RAMS.</li>
<li>Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and SharePoint.</li>
<li>Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy.</li>
<li>A proactive attitude with the ability to communicate confidently across all levels of the business.</li>
