About the Role
Sirius Talent is partnering with a leading life sciences organization to hire a Controls Automation Engineer supporting advanced automation systems and equipment.This role is heavily focused on Siemens PLC and HMI programming, supporting full lifecycle automation projects including development, testing, commissioning, and customer support in a highly technical environment. Controls Automation Engineer (Siemens PLC)Location: Carlsbad, CA (Hybrid/Onsite) Schedule: Standard business hours (project-based flexibility) Job Type: Contract-to-Hire Pay Rate: Up to $72/hour MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS – READ BEFORE APPLYING Candidates will NOT be considered or submitted unless ALL of the following are met:5+ years of hands-on Siemens PLC programming experience (non-negotiable)Direct experience with Siemens HMI systemsAbility to support onsite commissioning/startup activitiesExperience with industrial automation and process control systemsUnderstanding of electrical schematics and process diagramsExperience with fluid and/or pneumatic systems (valves, transmitters, etc.) Candidates without Siemens experience will not be considered.
