<p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>

<li class="MsoNormal"><strong>Explore innovative methods</strong> for nucleic acid amplification and detection, advancing diagnostic platforms beyond traditional techniques</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Create and enhance assays using expertise in enzyme engineering, nucleic acid chemistry, and molecular interactions</li>
<li class="MsoNormal"><strong>Lead research projects from concept to proof-of-principle,</strong> with the flexibility to tackle diagnostic problems in unconventional ways</li>
<li class="MsoNormal"><strong>Connect scientific discovery with practical applications</strong> to develop diagnostic tools based on nucleic acids and enzymes</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Contribute to intellectual property by submitting invention disclosures, patent applications, and technical reports</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Provide mentorship, presentations, and detailed documentation of experimental work</li>
</ul>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li class="MsoNormal"><strong>Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, </strong>Chemistry, or related field</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">5+ years of post-doctoral or industry experience in nucleic acid chemistry, enzyme systems, and molecular diagnostics</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Hands-on experience with restriction enzymes, ligases, polymerases, and nucleic acid manipulation techniques</li>
<li class="MsoNormal"><strong>Demonstrated success in designing and optimizing molecular assays</strong> for innovative solutions</li>
<li class="MsoNormal">Experience using enzymes and nucleic acids to<strong> address detection and amplification challenges</strong></li>
</ul>
