<p>A well-established <strong>structural engineering consultancy</strong> is looking to recruit a <strong>Structural Engineer with 3+ years’ experience</strong> to join their growing team in <strong>Exeter</strong>. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of <strong>small to medium-sized residential and commercial projects</strong>, gaining responsibility within a supportive and collaborative environment.</p>
<p>You will play a key role in the design and delivery of structural solutions from concept through to construction, working closely with architects, developers, and other consultants.</p>
<p><strong>The Structural Engineer role;</strong></p>
<p>As a Structural Engineer, you will be involved in the structural design and analysis of a range of building projects, contributing to high-quality engineering solutions and supporting project delivery across multiple schemes.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities of this Structural Engineer role;</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Design and analysis of structural elements in <strong>steel, concrete, timber, and masonry</strong>.</li>
<li>Preparation of <strong>structural calculations, drawings, and technical reports</strong>.</li>
<li>Working on <strong>residential and commercial developments</strong>, including refurbishments and new builds.</li>
<li>Liaising with <strong>architects, clients, and contractors</strong> throughout the project lifecycle.</li>
<li>Assisting with site inspections and providing technical support during construction.</li>
<li>Collaborating with senior engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Degree qualified in <strong>Structural or Civil Engineering</strong>.</li>
<li><strong>3+ years’ experience</strong> within a structural engineering consultancy.</li>
<li>Experience working on <strong>residential and/or commercial building projects</strong>.</li>
<li>Good understanding of structural design principles and UK design standards.</li>
<li>Experience using industry software such as <strong>Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, Robot, or similar</strong> is beneficial.</li>
<li>Working towards <strong>Chartered Engineer status (ICE or IStructE)</strong> is desirable.</li>
<li>Strong communication and problem-solving skills.</li>
