Position Overview
Due to continued business growth, Dentsply Sirona is seeking an experienced Equipment Sales Specialist to join our regional sales team in New South Wales.
In this role, you will promote and sell Dentsply Sirona equipment solutions within a defined NSW territory. Working closely with a broader regional sales team (including Implantology, Essential Dental, SureSmile and other Specialists), you will drive market share and penetration while building strong, long-term customer relationships. You will also play a key role in project-managing the sales, delivery and installation process in collaboration with service and sales administration teams.
Primary Objective:
Deliver profitable sales growth by providing expert equipment solutions, managing complex sales projects end to end, and supporting Dentsply Sirona’s customer satisfaction and value proposition.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Territory Management
Develop and implement a written annual sales plan to achieve assigned sales budgets.
Identify, develop and manage relationships with major potential buyers within the territory.
Conduct formal product presentations, attend exhibitions, and support branch-based promotional events.
Quote and negotiate pricing, prepare contracts, manage tenders and record orders accurately.
Provide regular sales reporting and feedback on product performance and market activity.
Project Management & Customer Support
Efficiently project-manage the sales, delivery and installation process in conjunction with service technicians and sales administration colleagues.
Coordinate sourcing, delivery and installation of equipment to ensure a positive customer experience.
Provide after-sales support, including applications guidance and maintenance training.
Maintain accurate and timely records within the CRM system.
Product & Market Knowledge
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Dentsply Sirona equipment, related software solutions and competitor offerings.
Communicate market insights and sales leads to colleagues to support broader business opportunities.
Participate in product development, marketing and client education activities as required.
Teamwork & Collaboration
Work collaboratively with Sales Managers, CTS Team Leaders, service teams and product managers.
Provide support and back-up to team members and contribute to shared objectives.
Health & Safety
Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures.
Proactively identify and report risks and maintain awareness of safety requirements.
Wear required personal protective equipment and manage safety issues appropriately.
About You
Experience & Qualifications
Relevant degree or certificate preferred.
Formal sales training desirable.
Demonstrated experience in a similar sales or technical sales role.
Knowledge of the dental or healthcare market is highly regarded.
Skills & Capabilities
Strong understanding of the sales process and solution-based selling.
Ability to communicate features and benefits of complex technical products and software solutions.
High levels of drive, motivation and the ability to work independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
