<h2>Heat Pump Engineer</h2>
<p>Central Scotland | To £45,000 | Full-Time, Permanent</p>
<p>A growing and ambitious <strong>renewable energy contractor</strong> is looking to add experienced <strong>Heat Pump Engineers</strong> to its team as part of an exciting expansion phase.</p>

<h2>The Role</h2>
<p>Covering projects across <strong>Glasgow and Edinburgh</strong>, you’ll be responsible for delivering complete heat pump installations within domestic and small commercial environments.</p>
<p>You’ll take full ownership of installations from start to finish, working independently on-site while maintaining high technical standards and customer satisfaction.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Installation of <strong>air source heat pump systems</strong></li>
<li>Upgrading existing heating systems for low-temperature operation</li>
<li>Installing cylinders, pipework, and emitters</li>
<li>Commissioning systems and handing over to clients</li>
<li>Fault finding, servicing, and remedial works</li>
<li>Managing materials and ensuring smooth project delivery</li>
</ul>

<h2>The Candidate</h2>
<p>We’re looking for a capable and self-sufficient engineer who takes pride in their work and is confident running jobs independently.</p>
<p>You should have:</p>
<ul>
<li>Strong experience in <strong>heating system installations</strong></li>
<li>Exposure to or experience with <strong>heat pumps</strong></li>
<li><strong>Gas Safe registration</strong></li>
<li>Good understanding of domestic heating systems and regulations</li>
<li>Full UK driving licence</li>
</ul>
<p>Desirable:</p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with <strong>underfloor heating systems</strong></li>
<li>Ability to interpret heat loss calculations or system designs</li>
<li>Strong fault-finding skills</li>
</ul>

<li>Salary: <strong>£40,000 – £45,000</strong></li>
