Health and Social Care Teacher - Rochdale

A college in the Rochdale area is seeking a HSC Teacher to join their team starting in September 2026 for a year long maternity cover. This is a full time position, 5 days per week.

About the role:

This role is to teach the Health and Social care curriculum to KS5 year groups. You will be expected to plan and mark as this is a long term role. The college is proud to be recognised as one of the top performing colleges in the country and are deeply committed to ensuring all students reach their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery HSC teaching to college students
• Ensure students stay focused and complete assigned tasks
• Mark and assess work according to examination/ assessment schedules

Pre-requisites:

• Experience working in HSC or similar role
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Confidence leading groups of students
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom settings
