About the Role

Role: PPA Teacher (KS1 & KS2 Cover) Location: Leasowe, Wirral Salary: £390 – £480 per week (dependent on experience/qualifications) Working hours: 3 days per week (Monday – Wednesday) To apply, you must show proof of right to work in the UK. About the Role Connex Education is working with a primary school based in Leasowe on the Wirral, who are seeking a confident, adaptable and enthusiastic fully qualified teacher or ECT to work as a PPA teacher across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This role involves covering classes across the school to allow teachers their Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time. This is a long-term position starting ASAP. You will be delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of year groups and subjects, ensuring continuity in learning and maintaining positive classroom environments. To excel in this role, you will need strong behaviour management skills, flexibility, and confidence teaching across both KS1 and KS2. About the School The school is a welcoming and inclusive setting with a strong community ethos. Staff work collaboratively to support pupils’ academic progress and personal development within a positive learning environment. Assignment Details This is a long-term position until July 2026, with the opportunity to extend for the right candidate.
