<p><strong>Server Engineer &amp; Cloud Architect needed in Lincoln Paying  £20.93 per hr ref 376145</strong></p> <p><strong>Full time hours on a temporary basis</strong> </p> <p> </p> </p> <p><em>Key Responsibilities</em></p> <ul> <li>Provide <strong>3rd Line support</strong> for IT incidents, service requests, and problem management activities, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.</li> <li>Administer, manage, maintain, and optimise hybrid server, storage, and cloud environments.</li> <li>Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of infrastructure services.</li> <li>Design, implement, and support cloud architecture solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.</li> <li>Produce and maintain technical documentation, standards, procedures, and architectural designs.</li> <li>Ensure systems remain secure through effective patch management, firmware updates, operating system maintenance, and access control measures.</li> <li>Support infrastructure projects by providing technical expertise, solution options analysis, and product evaluations.</li> <li>Monitor infrastructure performance, system health, capacity, and service quality, proactively identifying and resolving issues.</li> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver infrastructure enhancements and strategic technology initiatives.</li> <li>Participate in the out-of-hours on-call support rota to provide emergency support when required.</li> <li>Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, industry best practices, and security standards.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> If you are interested in the role, please email your CV to verity@essentialemploy.co.uk quoting the reference number. </p> <p>Essential Employment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
