Sacco Mann Recruitment is proud to be working with a respected and progressive law firm seeking an experienced Probate Fee Earner to join their well-established team in Sheffield/Manchester. The Role

As a Probate Fee Earner, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of probate matters from inception through to completion. You will utilise AI-enabled legal technology and case management systems to handle probate cases efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The role involves engaging predominantly via telephone and email with clients, providing expert support and guidance throughout the process. Collaboration with team members and mentoring junior colleagues are also key aspects of your responsibilities. This position is flexible in terms of full-time or part-time hours, with a hybrid working model combining home working and office presence across various locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of probate cases end-to-end, using case management and AI tools
• Accurately recording case information and updates within the system
• Engaging with clients primarily via telephone and email, providing exceptional service
• Collaborating with team members and support staff to ensure efficient case progression
• Mentoring junior members of the team, sharing legal knowledge and best practices

About You

• Qualified solicitor, legal executive (CILEX), STEP member, or with equivalent probate law experience
• Demonstrates initiative with strong organisational and prioritisation skills in a fast-paced environment
• Client-focused with excellent communication skills, capable of building positive relationships remotely
• Experience in private practice or relevant legal setting, with a strong background in probate law
