Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Wellingborough

About the role:

Justteachers is seeking an experienced HLTA to join a specialist SEN school in Wellingborough. This full-time opportunity starts in September 2026 and involves supporting teaching and learning across a range of classes and age groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver planned learning activities and interventions
• Lead small group sessions and occasional whole-class learning
• Support assessment and pupil progress monitoring
• Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN professionals
• Contribute to curriculum delivery and planning

Pre-requisites:

• HLTA qualification or relevant experience
• Experience working with pupils with SEN
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
• Two references within the last two years from a related field
