About the role:
Justteachers is seeking a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Bradford from September until December 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging language lessons, inspiring students to develop confidence and fluency in a modern foreign language, and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an enthusiastic ECT looking to gain valuable experience within a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality MFL lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach French and/or Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress effectively.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.
- Prepare students for assessments and examinations where applicable.
- Attend departmental meetings, parents’ evenings, and school events as required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement.
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject.
- Experience teaching MFL within a UK secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge in French and/or Spanish.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two recent professional references.
