Finance Analyst

I’m pleased to be partnering with a well-established, well-known organisation in Peterborough, who are looking for a Temporary Finance Analyst to join their team as soon as possible. This is a temporary contract, running until September 2026 and a great opportunity to support a busy finance function and gain exposure to a range of accounting tasks, including assisting with monthly management accounts. Working a 35 hour week – split across 4 days in the office and 1 from home, your duties will include: Bank postings and bank reconciliationsMaintaining the fixed asset register and posting depreciationAccruals and prepaymentsSupporting with the preparation of monthly management accountsFinancial analysis and reporting We’re looking for someone who:Is immediately available and ready to start a new role ASAPHas finance experience and strong Excel skillsIs naturally inquisitive and analytical approachAble to review large sets of data, spot anomalies or discrepancies, and investigate themHas experience with reconciliations, accruals and prepaymentsHas excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skillsIs Part Qualified CIMA or ACCA (desirable)   Interested?Get in touch/apply today – interviews will take place week commencing 9th March, with the successful candidate to start soon after.
