About the Role

26-03-2026 Almaviva supports the SUNRISE Observatory, which plays a strategic role in building a shared understanding of the evolution of road traffic in order to plan and organize targeted initiatives to support the energy transition in the transportation sector. Digital technology is an essential tool for achieving the decarbonization targets set by the European Union for 2030, 2040, and 2050. "Through MOOVA and the MOST Platform, we support not only the development of innovative services for sustainable mobility, but also the Observatory’s activities, leveraging Big Data and data visualization technologies for the integrated analysis of data, events, and scenarios related to the road transport of passengers and freight.” These were the words of Agata Quattrone, Head of Digital Innovation and Sustainability at Almaviva, during the panel discussion entitled “Industrial Ecosystem, Infrastructure, and Business Models”, held as part of the “Presentation of the SUNRISE Observatory Report – Market and Energy Transition in the Automotive Sector” event which took place today in Rome. SUNRISE is an observatory that analyzes trends in road mobility in order to steer its transformation. It is sponsored by MOST, the National Center for Sustainable Mobility, which, in collaboration with universities, the National Research Council (CNR), and businesses, promotes innovation to support the green and digital transition toward modern, sustainable, and inclusive solutions.
