An exciting opportunity has become available with a well-established, family-owned manufacturing business based in Bradford. The company is looking to appoint an ambitious and commercially minded accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified/part-qualified) into a newly created role that will play a key part in supporting its continued growth and success.
Working closely with the Finance Director, you'll gain exposure to both the financial and commercial aspects of the business, providing valuable insight to support strategic decision-making and operational performance.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing monthly management accounts and analysing performance against budget and forecast.
Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process.
Managing and reconciling intercompany balances, while building strong relationships with stakeholders across the group.
Partnering with the Finance Director and Managing Director to improve commercial reporting, profitability, and business performance.
Providing financial analysis and support on new business opportunities and growth initiatives.
Delivering meaningful insights to help drive informed decision-making across the organisation.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below qualifications/experience:
ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (or be actively studying towards qualification).
Experience in a business partnering role with the confidence to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel capabilities.
Good knowledge of finance systems and wider IT applications.
A proactive approach and the ambition to develop within a growing business.
