SEND Learning Mentor

About the role:
justteachers are supporting a primary school in Warwick to recruit a SEND Learning Mentor. This is a full-time role with a September 2026 start, fixed term until the end of the academic year. The school has a nurturing environment and a dedicated inclusion team supporting pupils with SEMH needs. Ongoing training and mentoring are provided throughout the role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide targeted mentoring for pupils with SEMH needs
• Deliver emotional wellbeing interventions
• Promote positive behaviour and resilience
• Liaise with teachers and external professionals

Pre-requisites:

• Level 2 or higher teaching assistant qualification or equivalent (Must be relevant to working with children)
• Proven experience working with children in a school or relevant setting (That can be referenced)
• A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
