Electrical Engineer
Location: Kent / Rochester (covering multiple train station sites)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Salary: Up to £48,000 + overtime + call-out (1 in 4)
An opportunity has arisen for a Electrical Engineer to work across multiple train station sites in the Kent and Rochester area. This is a hands-on role with leadership responsibility, overseeing a small team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out electrical reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
- Supporting with basic mechanical and plumbing tasks where required
- Ensuring compliance and adherence to health & safety standards
- Managing contractors, reviewing RAMS, and maintaining site documentation
- Assisting with toolbox talks and team support
- Liaising directly with the client
- Leading and supporting a small team of engineers
Requirements:
- Level 3 Electrical qualification
- 18th Edition
- 2391 Testing & Inspection (essential)
- Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role is beneficial
- Willingness to complete PTS (training provided)
