This is a great opportunity for a Data Engineer to join a company within the finance industry. In this role, you’ll play a key role in building and optimising data pipelines, modelling structures and integrations across a scalable Microsoft Fabric environment. You’ll collaborate with analytics, architecture and engineering teams to enhance data-driven product experiences and improve ingestion, modelling and integration processes across the platform.

Design and maintain scalable ETL and ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Synapse.

Model and store data using Delta Lake or OneLake, ensuring governance and lineage through Microsoft Purview.

Integrate third-party APIs into the platform to streamline data flow and reporting.

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Docker and Git.

Implement secure credential management and monitoring through Azure Key Vault.
-
Document architecture, data flows and technical processes across the stack.

Partner with analytics, architecture and engineering teams to enhance data-driven experiences.

Continuously improve ingestion, modelling and integration processes within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
Some of the requirements:
-
Proficient in Next.js, NestJS and Node.js.

Strong experience in data orchestration, modelling and integration within web applications.
-
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Pipelines, Lakehouse, Warehouses) and Azure services.

Skilled in SQL (T-SQL preferred) and either Apache Spark or Python for data engineering.
Experience embedding Power BI dashboards into web applications. -
Familiarity with data governance tools such as Microsoft Purview and security best practices.
Experience & Qualifications:

Proven experience in data engineering roles.

Track record of delivering integrated, data-driven applications.

Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (essential).

Background in Financial Services or Wealth Management would be advantageous.

A degree in a relevant subject would be beneficial.
