<p class="isSelectedEnd">We’re working with a long-established firm of Chartered Accountants in the Milton Keynes area that is looking to recruit a Semi-Senior Accountant to join its growing team.</p>
<p class="isSelectedEnd">This is an excellent opportunity for someone with around three years’ UK accountancy practice experience who enjoys working with owner-managed businesses and is keen to continue developing their career in a supportive, friendly environment.</p>
<p class="isSelectedEnd">The role is predominantly accounts-based, with some exposure to audit assignments, giving you the opportunity to broaden your experience while continuing your professional development.</p>
<h3>The role</h3>
<ul data-spread="false">
<li>Preparing year-end accounts for a varied portfolio of clients.</li>
<li>Preparing management accounts.</li>
<li>Bookkeeping and VAT returns.</li>
<li>Assisting with payroll where required.</li>
<li>Supporting managers with client work and responding to day-to-day queries.</li>
<li>Some exposure to audit assignments.</li>
</ul>
<h3>We’re looking for someone who</h3>
<ul data-spread="false">
<li>Has around three years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice.</li>
<li>Is AAT qualified or studying towards ACA or ACCA.</li>
<li>Has experience preparing accounts for a range of clients.</li>
<li>Has good bookkeeping and VAT knowledge.</li>
<li>Enjoys building relationships with clients and working as part of a close-knit team.</li>
<li>Is keen to continue learning and developing their career.</li>
