Documents productivity in a timely manner.</p><p></p><p><b>Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:</b></p><ul><li><p>Follows the established treatment plan and provides treatment according to funding source and regulatory guidelines to meet functional goals; accurately documents, including need for skilled services, patient progression, patient response, and then bills accordingly; provides education as appropriate</p></li><li><p>Serves as CI/mentor for interns as needed: Provides direct supervision/mentorship, taking direct responsibility for the patient & care provided. Provides daily feedback to interns regarding treatment interventions & directs the learning experience. Critiques/co-signs documentation daily to be sure it meets regulatory requirements & funding source specifications. Completes weekly, midterm and final evaluations for interns & communicates w/ their school regarding performance.</p></li><li><p>Participates in hospital and discipline specific skills check: Demonstrates competency through completion of didactic training and testing as well as demonstration of skills specific to their position and skill set as well as skills obtained at Wellstar Roosevelt.</p></li><li><p>Other duties as assigned.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Minimum Education</b></p><ul><li><p>Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Required</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Minimum Experience</b></p><ul><li><p>Minimum 1 year of experience in Occupational Therapy as an Assistant Preferred</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):</b></p><ul><li><p>Current American Heart Association, Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Red Cross</p></li><li><p><span>COTA - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant</span></p></li></ul></div><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>We’d like to invite you on a career journey like no other</span><span>!
