About the Role
Design and configure complex incentive compensation plans using SAP SPM IM or APM.
Troubleshoot and optimize remuneration elements, rules, workflows, and reporting structures.
Integrate SAP SPM with SAP and external systems using APIs and middleware (e.g., CPI).
Manage data modeling, quality, and complex data loads within the SPM environment.
Lead full-cycle SAP SPM implementations from discovery to post-go-live support.
Advise clients on best practices and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Support pre-sales activities including solution design and effort estimation.
Mentor junior consultants and conduct peer reviews of configurations and documentation.
Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring delivery quality.
Conduct system health checks and recommend improvements for existing SPM solutions.
What we are looking for
Requirements
7+ years of experience with SAP Incentive Management (IM) or Agent Performance Management (APM), including several full-cycle implementations
Strong knowledge of SAP SPM components such as plan configuration, rules, quotas, workflows, and reporting
Proven experience integrating SAP SPM with SAP modules (e.g., FS-CD, ERP, CRM) and third-party systems
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with experience leading teams and advising clients
Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent experience
Nice to have
SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Commissions
Experience with SAP BTP and advanced reporting tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud)
Familiarity with other SPM modules such as APM, T&Q, or ALM
Knowledge of other compensation or SPM platforms (e.g., SAP ICM)
