We’re recruiting Pupil Support Assistants to join a specialist SEMH school in Wandsworth. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils who may have experienced barriers to education, helping them build confidence, regulate their emotions and achieve positive outcomes.
The Role
Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEMH needs.
Build positive, trusting relationships with young people.
Support pupils with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies.
Encourage engagement in learning and personal development.
Work closely with teachers and the wider pastoral team to deliver tailored support.
About You
Experience working with children or young people, ideally within education, SEMH, SEND, care or youth work.
Calm, patient and resilient, with a positive approach.
Confident supporting pupils with behaviours that may challenge.
Passionate about making a lasting difference in young people’s lives.
