About the Role
<h2><strong>Veterinary Surgeon – GP Role | East London Hospital</strong></h2>
<p>Are you an experienced GP Vet who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment? GVC are assisting a large, well-established veterinary hospital in East London in recruiting a confident Veterinary Surgeon to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within one of the largest ECC-supported hospital settings in London.</p>
<h3><strong>About the Role</strong></h3>
<p>This full-time GP position is ideal for a vet who enjoys a varied caseload and wants to work across consulting, surgery, wards, and ECC. You should be comfortable with routine surgeries—including bitch spays and dentals—and confident managing emergency cases.</p>
<p>A keen interest in diagnostic imaging or a relevant certificate would be advantageous, but not essential. With a high imaging caseload and access to advanced diagnostics, this role is perfect for a GP vet looking to develop further in this area.</p>
<h3><strong>What You’ll Have Access To</strong></h3>
<ul>

<p>State-of-the-art imaging and diagnostic equipment, including CT</p>
<li>
<p>Support from a large, experienced team of hospital vets, senior clinicians, RVNs, students, and support staff</p>
<li>
<p>Onsite advanced soft tissue, orthopaedic, and minimally invasive surgery</p>
</ul>
<p>A rota averaged over 6 weeks: approx. 40 hours per week</p>
<ul>
<li>1:3 Saturdays
<li>1:6 Sundays<br />
</p>
<li>
<p>Easy access to central transport links (public transport encouraged)</p>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Salary & Core Benefits</strong></h3>

<p><strong>£45,000–£73,000</strong>, dependent on experience</p>
