<p><strong>Senior Technical Coordinator | Leading Contractor/Developer | West Midlands</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>You’ll work closely with consultants, statutory bodies, and internal teams—ensuring that each design stage supports our programme, budget and quality goals. This is a varied and collaborative role that plays a vital part in the success of our projects. You’ll contribute to planning approvals, construction readiness and customer satisfaction—all while supporting continuous improvement across the technical process.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>What you’ll do:</p> <p>Coordinate technical design packages and track progress against the design programme<br /> Chair and manage design team meetings, ensuring clear actions and issue resolution<br /> Liaise with Commercial, Construction, Sales and other departments to align information<br /> Review drawings for buildability, planning compliance and construction readiness<br /> Manage statutory approvals and planning condition discharge<br /> Support consultant appointments and ensure compliance with procedures<br /> Review sub-contractor design inputs and coordinate technical content<br /> Respond to sales and customer queries with accurate, timely information<br /> Contribute to value engineering, product optimisation and technical handover documentation<br /> Ensure design outputs meet CDM and risk assessment requirements<br /> What we’re looking for:</p> <p>Working towards a relevant qualification (Degree, HNC/HND, or NVQ Level 5)<br /> Experience coordinating internal teams and external design consultants<br /> Strong communication, time management and organisational skills<br /> Awareness of CDM and Principal Designer responsibilities<br /> Understanding of Golden Thread principles and BIM Level 2 standards<br /> A collaborative and solutions-focused approach<br /> Customer-minded with an eye for design quality and compliance<br /> Must have concrete frame experience<br /> In return</p> <p>·        Up to £70,000</p> <p>·        7k car allowance</p> <p>·        Fuel card</p> <p>·        10% bonus</p>
