OPTI STAFFING GROUP IS HIRING! Position: Saw Machine Operator Location: Fife, WA Pay: $23.00 - $25.00/hr DOE Schedule: Swing Shift | Monday – Friday | 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM Who We Are: Opti Staffing is partnering with one of the world's leading distributors of aerospace-grade steel and titanium. What You'll Do: Set up industrial saws for each production job by adjusting stops, guides, and cut lengths. Operate saw equipment to cut steel, titanium, and other materials to customer specifications. Monitor machine performance and inspect materials throughout the cutting process. Verify dimensions using tape measures, calipers, squares, and other measuring tools. Perform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments to maintain production. Move finished materials to the next stage of production using proper material handling techniques. Complete job tickets, production paperwork, and quality documentation accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company safety procedures. Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn industrial equipment. Experience working safely around heavy materials. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. The Musts: Minimum one year of manufacturing or warehouse experience. Ability to read measurements accurately. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to work the full swing shift schedule. Ability to pass pre-employment screening. Preferred: Previous saw machine or industrial saw experience. One year of forklift or material handling experience. Experience working with steel, aluminum, titanium, or other metal products.
