Job Description
- Manage media enquiries, monitor coverage and support the delivery of proactive and reactive media relations activity.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including MPs, councillors, industry bodies and external partners.
- Produce briefings, correspondence, stakeholder communications, statements and other high-quality written materials.
- Monitor political, regulatory and sector developments, providing insights on emerging opportunities and reputational risks.
- Support senior leaders with stakeholder engagement, events, visits, incident response and crisis communications activity.
The Successful Applicant
- Experience in public affairs, corporate affairs, media relations, government relations or external communications.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience working with political, regulatory or external audiences.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality briefings, correspondence and communications materials.
- Demonstrable interest in UK politics, current affairs and the wider public policy environment.
- Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and complex environment.
What's on Offer
- Salary between £42,800 and £47,200, dependent on the level of experience.
- Permanent position based in London.
