Sales Engineer/Estimator

We have an exciting opportunity for a  Sales Engineer/Estimator based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis. 

Summary of the Sales Engineer/Estimator role 

Salary: £30,000 
Location: Bedford 
Type of Contract: Permanent  
Hours: Monday – Thursday 7am-4.30pm if not working Friday.

If working the Friay shift the hours are 8am-4.30pm Monday - Thursday and Friday 8am-12pm
1 in 4 Fridays 

Responsibilities of the Sales Engineer/Estimator

• Manage and interpret both new and existing customer requirements
• Respond to technical sales enquiries
• Produce accurate quotes and prepare tenders, proposals, designs and technical documents – this will involve looking at technical drawings.
• Provide pre-sales technical expertise and product education
• Build and promote strong customer relationships
• Offer after-sales service
• Receive and accurately log customer sales enquiries
• Progress customer orders to completion and notify customers with any changes.

Requirements for a successful Sales Engineer/Estimator

•  Experience working a similar role
•  Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office
•  Excellent communication skills
•  Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
