Job Description
We are recruiting Co Packers to work at Pladis Wigston on a full time temp basis in Leicester, LE18 4PQ
Shift and Pay Information
- Weekly Pay on Fridays
- £12.71 per hour increasing to £15.33 per hour after 12 weeks.
- Rotational Shift: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM and 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Main Responsibilities:
- Attend daily meetings and follow shift instructions
- Maintain good communication with team leaders and colleagues
- Basic English and Maths skills required
- Basic computer skills required for system updates and target entries
- Perform stock counting accurately
- Use scanners for stock and product checks
- Always keep the working area clean and tidy
- Change cello tape and code setup when required
- Write product codes in the record book every half an hour
- Check pallets regularly for correct dates and paperwork copies
- Update targets in the computer system
- Use a hand pump when required
- At the end of the shift, hand over all important information to the opposite shift DC
- Complete machine setup during any changeover to ensure smooth production running
- Follow health & safety rules
- Lead people and organise work
