<p><strong>Role: </strong>Fire &amp; Security Systems Engineer</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> London and home counties</p> <p><strong>Employment type:</strong> Full-time, Permanent</p> <p><strong>Salary:</strong> £36000 to £40000 pa depending on experience + company van</p> <p>We are looking for a skilled and motivated Fire &amp; Security Systems Engineer to join growing team. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repairs of a wide range of fire and security systems for commercial, industrial, and residential clients.</p> <p>This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that values quality, reliability, and professional development.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Install, service, and maintain fire alarm, CCTV, fire detection and security systems to a highest standard</li> <li>Fault finding, diagnostics and repair of systems efficiently and effectively</li> <li>Complete system testing, commissioning, and client handovers</li> <li>Ensure all work complies with <strong>BS5839</strong>, <strong>BS7671</strong>, <strong>NSI, BAFE</strong> and other relevant standards</li> <li>Completion of job sheets and service reports</li> <li>Provide excellent customer service and technical support on-site</li> <li>Participate in an <strong>on-call rota</strong> for emergency callouts (as required)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in a similar fire and/or security systems engineering role.</li> <li>Understanding of relevant British Standards (BS5839, BS5266)</li> <li>Good understanding of current standards and legislation.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and manage own workload.</li> <li>Full <strong>UK driving licence</strong> (essential).</li> <li>Relevant <strong>industry qualifications</strong> (FIA units, ECS/CSCS, or equivalent) desirable.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary + overtime</li> <li>Company van, tools, uniform</li> <li>Ongoing training and professional development</li> <li>Pension scheme</li> <li>Supportive team environment and career progression opportunities</li> </ul> <p>To apply, please send your CV to Lina</p>
