<h3><strong><span style="font-family: Calibri">The Role</span></strong></h3>
<p><span style="font-family: Calibri">Due to continued growth, my client is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team in Portsmouth. This is a key role responsible for preparing accurate and commercially competitive tenders across a range of electrical installation projects.</span></p>
<h3><strong><span style="font-family: Calibri">Key Responsibilities</span></strong></h3>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, typically ranging from £50k to £2m+</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documentation</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Carry out take-offs and pricing for materials, labour, and subcontractors</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Identify risks and opportunities, including value engineering options</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Work closely with project managers and senior leadership on bid submissions</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Attend pre- and post-tender meetings where required</span></li>
</ul>
<h3><strong><span style="font-family: Calibri">Requirements</span></strong></h3>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within an electrical contracting environment</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical installations</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Experience using estimating software such as Trimble, Amtech, or similar</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Strong commercial awareness and cost understanding</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Excellent organisational and communication skills</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Relevant electrical qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, HNC or equivalent preferred)</span></li>
</ul>
<h3><strong><span style="font-family: Calibri">Salary & Package </span></strong></h3>

<li><span style="font-family: Calibri">Basic salary of £50,000 – £70,000 depending on experience</span></li>
