About the Role
Commercial Contracts & Procurement Lawyer
A local authority based in London is seeking a commercial contracts and procurement lawyer for an initial period of three months.
The successful commercial contracts and procurement lawyer will be required to provide expert legal advice in relation to contract law and procurement law, draft contracts, draft other relevant documentation in relation to tenders, give legal advice in relation to contract disputes, data protection, Freedom of Information Act requests and other areas of local government law.
You will be required to manage your own caseload of commercial legal matters from the outset. You will work amongst a team of 4 lawyers.
This is a hybrid working role with office attendance 1 or 2 days in the office and the rest of the week remote.
PAYE rate is £50 per hour and Umbrella £65.70 per hour
This is an urgent role, so candidates must be available on short notice. You must also have a current practising certificate to be considered for the role.
