Job Summary

We are looking for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Assistant to provide high-quality care and education to young children in a nurturing and stimulating environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Activity Planning: Planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate activities that align with the EYFS framework.

  • Child Development: Supporting children's individual learning journeys and tracking their developmental milestones.

  • Safety and Wellbeing: Maintaining a safe, clean, and positive classroom atmosphere while ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed.

  • Observations: Carrying out regular observations and maintaining accurate records of children's progress.

  • Team Collaboration: Working effectively as part of a team to ensure the smooth daily running of the setting.

  • Parental Engagement: Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding their child's daily activities and progress.


Job Type

Full-time, Long-term, Day-to-day opportunities available


Qualification and Education

Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)


Experience

Experience working with young children in an early years setting is preferred, but not essential for the right candidate.


Required Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a nurturing and patient personality, strong organisational skills, ability to work as part of a team, passion for early childhood education.
