<p>We are recruiting an experienced Ocean Import Supervisor to join a leading global logistics organisation in Feltham. This is a key supervisory role, responsible for leading the Ocean Import team, driving operational and financial performance, and supporting both people and process development.</p>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Ensure all customer Standard Operating Procedures are followed</li>
<li>Review and support daily quotations</li>
<li>Plan and lead team huddles and monthly meetings, sharing market intelligence and delegating workloads</li>
<li>Support the transition of new business and updates to existing accounts</li>
<li>Drive department revenue growth in line with budget targets</li>
<li>Support compliance initiatives and team training</li>
<li>Monitor workflows and identify areas for efficiency improvements</li>
<li>Assist with system changes and process enhancements</li>
<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, trucking companies, and vendors</li>
<li>Support performance reviews, goal setting, and staff development</li>
</ul>
<h3>Skills & Experience Required</h3>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 5 years’ experience in ocean freight for a UK based freight forwarder</li>
<li>Previous supervisory or senior operational experience</li>
<li>Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills</li>
<li>Proven ability in problem solving, conflict resolution, and process improvement</li>
<li>Experience coaching and developing teams</li>
<li>Strong customer focus and stakeholder management skills</li>
<li>Software proficiency including MS Excel (formulas & pivot tables) and MS Word</li>
<li>Excellent understanding of ocean import operations</li>
<li>Fluent in English (written and spoken)</li>
