About the Role
On behalf of our returning private client, we are seeking a proactive candidate to oversee day to day F&B operations, managing a team of 25-30 F&B staff across multiple local residential properties. Reporting to the Operations Manager, staff including Chefs, Butlers and Kitchen Porters This is a hands-on role that requires a balance of operational experience, staff supervision and the associated administrative duties. Our client is seeking an experienced supervisor who is calm, diplomatic and used to working across busy F&B operations within private homes ideally but also restaurants & hotels. Working hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday; 9.15am - 5.45pm plus on-call every 2/3rd weekend (most issues resolved over phone) Key Responsibilities Supervising the daily F&B operation, ensuring the highest standards are maintained at all times across the property portfolio. Liaising daily with the Operations Manager, providing reports/statistics as required. Supervising the F&B team including control of the weekly roster, oversight day-to-day attendance and motivating the team to ensure a positive and productive work environment. Collaborating with the Operations team to implement strategies that improve service efficiency and productivity. Conducting regular checks of all kitchens, pantries, food storage and back of house areas, ensuring all kitchen and F&B operating equipment is working and regularly maintained. Ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained, in compliance with H&S regulations. Assisting in the training and development of F&B team members. This includes ensuring compliance with health and safety training, food hygiene etc. Managing F&B inventories across the property portfolio (typically annual) including kitchen equipment, silver, china, cutlery, glassware and crystal. Dealing with any performance or disciplinary issues, with the support of HR, on a timely basis. Deputising for the Assistant Provisions Manager when required Skills required: A strong background in F&B/Hospitality, ideally in a similar environment. An excellent knowledge of kitchen and F&B service operations, including H&S. Experience of managing a large team of staff, with the ability to lead by example. A team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. An eye for detail with high quality standards. A proactive approach to problem-solving. Comfortable working in what can be a fast-moving environment, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing demands. Good IT and administrative skills. Clean driving licence.
