Business Development Executive

Blue Legal is partnering with a leading UK law firm to recruit a Business Development Executive for its Birmingham, Leeds or Manchester office. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious business development professional to join a collaborative and high-performing team, supporting client development, sector initiatives, work-winning campaigns and profile-raising activity across the firm. Working closely with Business Development Managers, partners and key stakeholders, the successful candidate will play an integral role in driving growth and strengthening client relationships across multiple sectors.

The Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of sector and client development plans, ensuring initiatives are executed effectively and aligned with business objectives.
• Build strong relationships with partners, client account leads and external stakeholders, contributing ideas and supporting growth opportunities.
• Analyse client, sector and market data, producing reports and insights to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Assist with the planning and delivery of business development campaigns, thought leadership programmes and targeted marketing communications.
• Coordinate legal directory submissions, awards entries, proposal content and the maintenance of the firm’s credentials and CV library.
• Support the delivery of seminars, webinars, conferences and client events, working closely with internal stakeholders and the Events team.
• Maintain and utilise CRM systems effectively, ensuring data quality, reporting accuracy and GDPR compliance.

The Candidate:

• Previous experience in a Business Development Executive role within a law firm or professional services environment.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
