<h3><strong>Role Overview</strong></h3>
<p>The Mechanical Engineer will have the responsibility of designing, developing, and optimizing <strong>centrifugal pump systems</strong>, including both hydraulic and mechanical components. This role will focus on enhancing performance, efficiency, and reliability while supporting the development of new products and continuous product improvements.</p>

<h3><strong>Main Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>

<p>Establish pump performance requirements including <strong>flow rate, head, and fluid properties</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Design and enhance <strong>centrifugal pump hydraulics</strong> (impellers, diffusers, volutes)</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Conduct detailed mechanical design of components including <strong>shafts, seals, bearings, and housings</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Create <strong>3D CAD models, drawings, and bills of material</strong> using SolidWorks or equivalent software</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Utilize <strong>CFD and analytical tools</strong> to evaluate and optimize pump performance</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Analyze and improve designs to tackle <strong>efficiency, cavitation, vibration, and durability</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Support <strong>prototype builds and testing</strong>, including performance validation and design iterations</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Perform root cause analysis on field or test challenges and implement corrective design adjustments</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, suppliers, and other engineering teams to aid in production and continuous enhancements</p>

<p>Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>5+ years of experience in centrifugal pump design or rotating equipment</strong></p>

<p>Solid understanding of <strong>fluid mechanics and pump hydraulics</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience in designing crucial pump components like <strong>impellers, volutes, shafts, seals, and bearings</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Proficiency in <strong>SolidWorks or similar CAD software</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Experience with <strong>CFD or similar performance modeling tools</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities</p>
</li>

<p>Aptitude to thrive in a <strong>collaborative engineering environment</strong></p>
