We are seeking a Production Planning & Inventory Supervisor to join our Production Planning & Management team at our plant located in Pueblo, Colorado. As a Production Planning & Inventory Supervisor, you will oversee the planning and inventory management program for our Rail Mill. You will develop, direct and manage a team of employees in the safe, efficient and cost-effective manufacture of high-quality rail products. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and oversee all necessary cycle-counts (daily, weekly, monthly quarterly, and annually), reporting, and adjustments of raw materials, WHIP, and finished goods Monitor daily production, shipments and delay management Forecast operational schedules based on the order book Maintain and improve department 6S – daily management Collaborate directly with the Sales Department to prioritize product preparation and On-Time-In-Full (OTIF). Primary contact to operations, 3rd party vendors, and sales regarding performance and supply Collaborate with operations & maintenance teams to drive the business unit toward their goals Order molds from Steel Production to be processed in the Seamless Mill Supervise clerical employees to include development, coaching, training, shift safety meetings, performance management, timekeeping, a good working knowledge to administer the collective bargaining agreements and application of company policies Performs other duties as they might be assigned MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Associates degree in a business-related field or equivalent, preferred Three years of industrial supervisory experience, steel industry preferred One year of front-line supervisory or team leader experience managing cross-functional teams Knowledge and experience with process troubleshooting, and material flow logistics Experience with database development, statistical process control, process control and automation technologies, and lean manufacturing principles, preferred Functional knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint Experience with Oracle quality and production modules and Oracle 11i requisitioning, preferred Strong time management skills High mechanical aptitude Proven ability to professionally communicate, in written and verbal forms Proven ability to organize and motivate teams for safe, high-quality results and maximum productivity Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Ability to work in an operational mill, with exposure to environmental and outside conditions, with hazards present, while following safety procedures Must hold a valid Colorado Driver’s License Compensation $82,000 - $92,000 Open & Closing Dates: 04/21/2026 - 05/05/2026 Our total compensation package includes amazing benefits!
