You will leverage your deep expertise in Workday Payroll and UK specific regulations to design, configure, and deploy solutions that meet complex business requirements. Your responsibilities will include: * Solution Design & Architecture: Designing and architecting Workday UK Payroll solutions, translating complex business requirements into effective system configurations and producing detailed UK payroll process designs. * End-to-End Project Delivery: Leading and participating in all phases of the Workday UK Payroll implementation lifecycle, from discovery and design to configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. * Subject Matter Expertise: Acting as the primary Workday UK Payroll subject matter expert, providing guidance on best practices, functionality, and regulatory compliance. * Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all Workday Payroll configurations and processes adhere strictly to UK payroll legislation, tax regulations (PAYE, National Insurance), statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP, ShPP, SAP), and other relevant compliance standards. * Client Relationship Management: Developing and nurturing strong client relationships, influencing stakeholders and sponsors across all levels of seniority, from middle management to board level. Your Experience & Skills To be successful in this role, you will possess: * Workday UK Payroll Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with Workday Payroll, specifically within the UK market, including configuration, testing, and deployment. * End-to-End Project Experience: A proven track record of delivering multiple end-to-end Workday UK Payroll implementation projects. * UK Payroll Regulations: Deep and current understanding of UK payroll legislation, tax frameworks, statutory payments, and compliance requirements. * Certification: Workday Payroll certified (or equivalent demonstrable expertise with a strong commitment to achieving certification). UK Payroll certification * Client-Facing Acumen: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport with clients at all organisational levels. * Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex payroll issues and propose effective solutions. * Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a project team, potentially managing small to medium-sized workstreams or mentoring junior colleagues. * Adaptability: A proactive and adaptable approach, comfortable working in a fast-paced consulting environment.
