About the Role
Senior Machinist We are seeking an experienced Senior Machinist to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is ideal for a skilled machinist who is comfortable working independently with both manual and CNC equipment and can take projects from setup through completion. ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate manual mills, lathes, grinders, drill presses and other machining equipmentSet up, program and operate CNC mills and lathesRead and interpret blueprints, drawings and specificationsMachine parts to required dimensions and tolerancesUse calipers, micrometers and other precision measuring toolsInspect completed parts for accuracy and qualityTroubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustmentsMaintain a clean, safe and organized work areaIdeal CandidateSeveral years of machining experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong experience with manual mills and lathesCNC setup, operation and programming experienceAbility to read blueprints and work to precise tolerancesExperience using precision measuring equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailAbility to work independently and solve problemsThis is a great opportunity for an experienced machinist looking for a stable position where they can utilize both traditional machining skills and CNC experience.
