As a Sales Representative at Macmillan Education, you will play a central role in promoting our publishing list, strengthening relationships with key partners, and driving sales growth in your assigned territory. This role will be reporting to the Regional Sales Manager. Role Responsibilities: Organising, carrying out, and reporting on an extensive programme of visits to schools, universities, ministries, retailers, and distribution partners in the territory, ensuring professional representation of the company at all times. Maintaining regular contact with educational institutions, retailers, ministries, and other stakeholders through visits, email, and telephone communication. Providing timely and accurate market feedback gathered during visits and meetings. Organising, attending, and reporting on exhibitions, conferences, seminars, and teacher training workshops, including delivering presentations and training sessions where appropriate. Supporting the organisation and execution of marketing and publishing projects within the territory. Updating and maintaining the customer database regularly and accurately. Assisting in the creation of promotional materials and targeted mailings to educational institutions. Handling queries and correspondence received from schools, teachers, and other stakeholders. Working closely with the Regional Manager to develop and implement strategies to maximise sales and strengthen the company’s presence in the market. Carrying out other promotional and sales-related duties as required. Experience, Skills & Qualifications: Essential Fluency in English and Slovak (spoken and written). University degree, preferably in Education, Languages, or a related field. Experience in English Language Teaching (ELT) or the publishing/education sector (preferred). Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Reliability in meeting deadlines and the ability to work independently. Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory (valid driving licence required). Desirable Sales experience (an asset). Initiative, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
