Our firm is looking to put in place a leader that will continue to execute the financial controls for a well established hospitality leader and grow with best standards in the industry.</p> <p>What have people &amp; employees said about this company?</p> <p>Award winning resorts that are highly acclaimed<br /> A work environment that is prideful and purposeful in execution<br /> Multiple awards with partnerships reflecting the apex of standards</p> <p>Title: Corporate Controller<br /> Location: Rochester, NY<br /> Salary: $110,000 &#8211; $125,000</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Develop and recommend major corporate accounting strategies, objectives, and policies to management.<br /> Establish, document, and maintain standard accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls for all finance and accounting operations across entities.<br /> Oversee the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, operating expenses, and insurance records.<br /> Manage the creation of annual budgets and conduct monthly variance analysis for all entities.<br /> Handle the management of debt, construction financing, and other capital transactions.<br /> Ensure the successful completion of internal and external financial audits, coordinating with CPA firms and providing timely information as requested by auditors.<br /> Offer assistance, guidance, and counseling to the General Manager, leadership team, and employees, and participate in KPI meetings as scheduled.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent certification is highly desirable.<br /> MUST have 8 plus years of hospitality related financial management and accounting experience at both the property level and corporate supervisory level<br /> Familiarity with uniform system of accounts for the lodging industry<br /> Hospitality experience; working with various ownership structures highly desirable<br /> Extensive knowledge of hotel operations, services and accounting<br /> Experience with accounting software and centralized control purchasing systems preferred</p>
