You don’t need prior supply chain experience, but you’ll need:</p><p><strong>Essential</strong></p><ul><li><p><span>🧡 A good standard or secondary education</span></p></li><li><p><span>⛔NOT already hold a CIPD qualification Level 3 (or above)</span></p></li><li><p><span>👍To have the right to work in the UK and meet the Apprenticeship Funding eligibility criteria</span></p></li><li><p>GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at Grade A–C / 9–4</p></li><li><p>Eligibility and commitment to undertake a Supply Chain apprenticeship</p></li><li><p>Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills and attention to detail</p></li><li><p>A positive, reliable and “can-do” attitude</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desirable</strong></p><ul><li><p>Previous office, administration or customer service experience</p></li><li><p>An awareness or interest in supply chain, procurement or logistics</p></li></ul><h3><strong>🌟THE ROLE</strong></h3><p>We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Supply Chain Apprentice to join our Supply Chain team based in New Milton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start of their career who is keen to gain hands-on experience across procurement, planning, logistics and supplier coordination, while working towards a Supply Chain qualification as part of an apprenticeship programme.</p><p>You’ll be supported by an experienced team and will combine practical workplace learning with structured academic study, dedicating 6 hours per week of your working time to off-the-job learning activities.</p><p>This role is designed to build the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to progress into a Supply Chain Planner or similar role on successful completion of the apprenticeship.</p><p><strong>📝Apprenticeship Level 3 details</strong></p><p><a target="_blank" href="https://www.instituteforapprenticeships.org/apprenticeship-standards/procurement-and-supply-assistant-v1-0">https://www.instituteforapprenticeships.org/apprenticeship-standards/procurement-and-supply-assistan...</a><br></p><h3>📃What you’ll be doing</h3><p>As a Supply Chain Apprentice, you’ll support the team with day-to-day supply chain activities, including:</p><ul><li><p>Assisting with the creation, sending and follow-up of purchase orders</p></li><li><p>Supporting the purchasing inbox, processing requests to purchase and supplier queries</p></li><li><p>Maintaining accurate data within our ERP system and escalating any issues where needed</p></li><li><p>Helping prepare and update planning sheets and supply chain documentation</p></li><li><p>Supporting third-party warehouse queries and issue resolution</p></li><li><p>Providing general administrative and operational support to the wider Supply Chain team</p></li></ul><p>Alongside your role, you’ll actively take part in your apprenticeship programme, applying what you learn to your day-to-day work and working closely with your line manager, mentor and training provider to track your development.</p><h3><strong>🙋♂️READY TO APPLY </strong></h3><p>If you are interested in this role, please upload your <strong>CV </strong>and answer a few questions about yourself so we can get to know you better!</p><h3>OTHER INFORMATION</h3><p>This is an exciting time at the Appello group - we are a company on the move and now is a perfect time to join our team.
