We are looking for an ambitious Sous Chef to join a quality hotel operation in Suffolk.

The kitchen team has a brilliant culture, supportive leadership and a clear focus on consistency, standards and development.
You’ll support the senior chefs in running the kitchen day-to-day, lead sections during busy service, assist with menu input and help drive quality across all dishes.
As a Sous Chef you will:
Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running and leadership of the kitchen
Lead service on designated shifts, maintaining calm, control and consistency
Assist with menu development, dish creation, costing and seasonal innovation
Prepare, cook and present dishes to specification and high standard
Train, mentor and motivate junior chefs to develop skills and confidence
Ensure all kitchen documentation, HACCP and Food Safety standards are followed
Manage ordering, stock control, waste reduction and GP targets
Deputise for the Head Chef in their absence where required
