Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations (49 CFR Parts 382, 383, 390-399)
• Experience with transportation safety, compliance, or fleet management
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
• Proficiency with compliance software and fleet management systems
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience preparing for DOT audits and compliance reviews
• Familiarity with FMCSA’s Safety Measurement System (SMS)
• Ability to liaise effectively with legal teams and regulatory agencies

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in transportation safety are a plus
• Previous experience in a compliance or safety role within the transportation industry

Other Requirements:

• Ability to review and analyze driver qualification files, medical certificates, and MVRs
• Willingness to assist in audit preparations and responses
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
