About the Role
Our client is a well established manufacturing and distribution business with specialist manufacturing expertise to the packaging and related industry sectors. Due to ongoing restructure and development, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced Operations Director for their regional site in the Home Counties area.
To apply for this key role, you should have previous experience of operations / production management in a similar business, preferably with knowledge of International Supply Chain and Inventory. The role will report at Senior Executive level and you will have full P& L responsibility for the site working closely with the Managing Director and Executive Team.
You should have excellent communication and relationship building skills together with strong financial and commercial acumen and the ambition and desire to develop further in the role.
Ideally, you will be fully conversant with LEAN production techniques and have experience in project management.
