We're partnering with a well-established, family-owned manufacturing company seeking a Hands-On Maintenance Supervisor to lead a small maintenance team while remaining actively involved on the plant floor. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, mentoring technicians, and making an immediate impact in a close-knit, team-oriented environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead and work alongside the maintenance team in daily plant operations.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, conveyors, motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
- Prioritize maintenance requests and respond quickly to equipment breakdowns.
- Train, mentor, and support maintenance technicians.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company safety standards.
- Work closely with production leadership to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
- Supervisory or lead maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with electrical troubleshooting experience.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, bearings, gearboxes, and industrial machinery.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to remain hands-on and lead by example.
